Know every donor. Reach what matters.
Basira (بصيرة, “insight”) is Wusul’s donor intelligence platform. We build your donor data foundation, six models score every donor every night, and your team turns those scores into audiences on thirteen platforms.
Re-scored nightly · donor data stays in your warehouse
Product screens on this page are illustrative; donor names and values are examples.
We build the data. The models score it. Your team acts on it.
Connect
Your CRM flows into one clean donor database in your own warehouse. Owned by you, run by us.
Score
Six models score every donor, automatically, every night, so the picture is never stale.
Act
Scores become audiences, call lists and campaigns inside Basira. No data team required on your side.
RFM segments
Recency, frequency and monetary value, each scored 1 to 4, mapping every donor into ten named segments.
Churn risk
An early-warning score, so you call donors before they leave, not after.
Lifetime value
Everything given plus a five-year forecast of future giving, tiered Bronze to Diamond.
Next transaction
Expected amount and timing, from each donor’s own giving rhythm.
Seasonal intelligence
Ramadan-to-Ramadan comparisons, last-ten-nights tracking, Zakat vs Sadaqah vs Qurbani behaviour.
AI analyst
Answered from live queries on your data, with every query cited.
Your community, in segments you can actually use.
“Lapsed Ramadan givers worth $500+”, built in one breath.
Forty donor traits, plain-English rules and a live count in about two seconds. Twelve fundraising-native segments come pre-built: Champions, monthly-upgrade candidates, Qurbani buyers, last-ten-nights givers.
From insight to a launched audience, without a data team.
We run the data engineering; your marketers run the strategy. Pick a platform and Basira formats the audience to its exact spec, with hashed identifiers, minimum-size checks and that platform’s best practices shown before you export.
Every export is logged in the audit trail, and your team confirms donor consent before any audience is used.
One audience, thirteen destinations.
Not all giving is the same. Knowing the difference is worth millions.
A Zakat payer, an emergency responder and an orphan sponsor behave completely differently. Basira measures each cause like a product: how many of its first-time donors ever give again.
An analyst on your data, and a 360 for every person.
Real numbers from your data, never guesses, with the queries it ran cited under every answer.

Full history, scores and predictions on a dual Hijri and Gregorian timeline, for every donor.
When your donors give, hour by hour and city by city, down to the ZIP code, and out to the country the money reaches. Every view runs in each donor’s own time zone.
Most donor tools treat Ramadan as a spike in the data. For Muslim charities, it is the shape of the year.
Illustrative shape of a Muslim charity’s giving year, on the Hijri calendar.
Ramadan arrives about eleven days earlier every Gregorian year, so a like-for-like comparison has to follow the lunar calendar. Basira aligns every year-over-year view to the Hijri calendar, tracks the last ten nights and Dhul Hijjah, and measures Zakat, Sadaqah and Qurbani, and the 10 and 30 Nights, 10 Days and Jummah Club schedules, as the different products they are.
Serious engineering, so your team doesn’t need any.
- Warehouse-native. Scoring runs inside your own BigQuery, so the donor file is not copied out to score it.
- Fast and frugal. Nearly a million gifts re-scored in about 45 seconds, for around a fifth of a cent of compute.
- A governed AI. The analyst works through a controlled data layer, never raw SQL, and shows the queries behind every answer.
- Safe by construction. Every query is parameterised and cost-capped; identifiers are SHA-256 hashed to each platform’s spec.
- Accountable. Every export, profile view and scoring run is written to an audit log.
“Understand people before you ask them to give. Every screen in Basira ends in an action a fundraiser can take today.”
The principle Basira is built on.
Actions over dashboards
Every screen ends in something a fundraiser can do: a list, an export, a call queue.
Every number explained
Each score and metric carries a plain-language explanation. No black boxes.
Your data stays yours
Donor data stays in your warehouse, and every export is logged.
